The Spurs cruised to a road blowout win. After a couple of exciting first halves, the Spurs were able to control and top the Knicks (109-98) then the 76ers on the road, culminating in a 10th straight victory, atop the west, despite the mightier 12-game win streak of the Warriors. The Claw threw down 17 points with a highlight block on Jimmy Butler (13 points, 6-12 FG%). It was Rudy Gay's reverse dunk on the baseline and burst of 9 points in the first quarter that sparked the road effort, finishing with 17 points. Dejounte Murray had 12 points with 6 assists, tasked with frustrating Ben Simmons off his game (13 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 8 turnovers ). For Philadelphia, Wilson Chandler had a long way to reach 20 points on 8-19 shooting, an icy 1-8 from long range. Joel Embiid had just 6 points with 17 rebounds. Patty Mills had 12 points on four nice 3PTers; Pau Gasol delivered 11 points with 12 rebounds and 3 steals. Skal Labissiere had 10 points, making 2-3 from deep.
