Murray's 28 points and 6 assists nearly got the win. Dejounte Murray had a nice game of 28 points with 6 assists on 11-16 shooting, making 3-6 from long range, nabbing a steal, but the Spurs fell to the Magic after making a solid comeback. Orlando's tandem of talent, Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic combined for 45 points and 18 rebounds, with Gordon swatting 2 blocks and throwing down some highlight jams, the duo shooting 19-24 overall; just too good in this one. DJ Augustin had 15 points with 12 assists; Jonathan Isaac had 13 points and Evan Fournier notched 10 points with 6 assists behing Augustin. Former Spur, Thaddeus Young made nice plays for 8 points and 4 steals. San Antonio, despite the comeback, started out poorly only scoring 14 points to Orlando's 22 in the first quarter. Avery Bradley hit a clutch three-pointer on the wing. This showdown at Miami beach featured an early alley-oop reverse dunk by Iman Shumpert courtesy of Kawhi Leonard's steal, then later a tomahawk jam by Rudy Gay and a step-back 3PTer also by Gay over James Johnson in the 3rd quarter, giving the Spurs a 67-46 advantage. A rally by the Heat ensued, but it was a go-ahead 3PTer by Avery Bradley in the final minute that calmed the crowd making it 97-92. San Antonio came out firing in this one, winning the 1st Quarter 25-17, then the second 29-22. If not for the huge 35-18 swing by Miami in the final period, this would've stayed a blowout after a 28-21 third quarter by the Spurs. Kawhi Leonard had 17 points with 4 steals.
